7/15/07 - Larry Lindquist

I'm trying to keep track of my notes from church...so here they are. No attempt to make it brilliant literature by any means.

Ecc 11:7 - Live life to the fullest!

Books he mentioned:
Mark Buchanan - Hidden in Plain Sight
John Piper - Don't Waste Your Life

Ecc 12 - describes what it's like to get old

Remember your creator, when you're young & when you're old

* We understand that we are created, God is God & we are not...
this reacquaints us w/our mortality & this is how we should live

* We remind ourselves what He has done, we take it for granted if we fail to reflect
Deut 8 : be careful that you do not forget the Lord, Song - "Immigrant Eyes" by Guy Clark

* Confirm His priority in our lives, it's a matter of obedience
Gen 22:3 : Abraham got up ....
Psm 19:56
