Saw it. It was okay. That's about all there really is to say about it. It's like they set out to "fix" a few of the first movie's short-comings. Is Johnny Storm really that shallow? Addressed. Is Reed really that big of a loser (in a smart guy way)? Check. Is Sue Storm simply a hot chick pretending to be smart girl? Addressed. And so on...Jessica Alba still can't act. And this time she's not as easy on the eyes. Michael Chiklis is still "good" as the Thing, but I still don't like him. The rest of the actors are fine. Having Laurence Fishburne as the voice of Silver Surfer....nice job.
Like most modern day "effects" movies...they were flawless. See my comments on Spiderman 3. My pal Greg described this movie best: if you liked the first one, this one is better. If you thought the first one sucked, this one just sucks less. Nothing more, nothing less.
I guess the my big question is "Will they do another one?" My answer right now: don't really care. Now will they do a Silver Surfer movie....I can get behind that.
